  • Blue Route: This is the main climbing path at Munkstigen via ferrata – a 950-meter-long route that begins at around 20 meters above sea level and ends at 500 meters. Once the longest via ferrata in Northern Europe, it offers breathtaking views over the Trondheim Fjord and the Fosen Alps.
  • Pink Route: An alternative trail for those who wish to turn back after the first section. A safe and easy option if you change your mind during the climb.
  • Yellow Route: Begins at the base of the mountain and leads toward Mevass setra. This is a scenic hike with a chance to enjoy traditional Norwegian food and culture – expect around 1.5–2 hours of walking.
  • Green Route: The descent trail from the top. Also ideal for family or friends who don’t want to climb but wish to meet you at the summit. Estimated time downhill: 30–90 minutes.
