Munkstigen Via Ferrata is located along County Road 755, between Vanvikan and Leksvik on the scenic Fosen peninsula. Just 7 km from Vanvikan, the drive treats you to breathtaking views of fjords and mountains – the perfect prelude to your climbing adventure. The trail begins at Drakestranda 1300, with clear roadside signs guiding the way.

Whether you’re arriving by ferry from Trondheim or driving through Trøndelag’s stunning landscapes, Munkstigen is easy to find. For the most accurate route, we recommend using GPS or Google Maps. If you’re crossing from Flakk to Rørvik, be sure to check the ferry schedule in advance.

All payment and registration take place when you pick up your climbing gear at Hindrum Fjordsenter. You can pay by cash, card, or Vipps. For larger groups, invoicing can be arranged. A simple, safe, and flexible start – so you can focus fully on the experience.
